Tokyo - 24 January, 2008 : Frontiers Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo Japan, President: Hiroshi Tango, “Frontiers”) and Remixpoint, Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo Japan, President: Noboru Yoshikawa, “Remixpoint”) have agreed to enter into a business partnership in order to reinforce the video solution capabilities of the both companies in communications and broadcasting business field.

1. ObjectiveRemixpoint has strengths in development and sales of professional application software with high operability for digital images and video contents. Frontiers develops and sells products and solutions for IP transmission of HDTV-quality video to major broadcasting companies and communications operators in Japan.

This partnership will develop closer relationship between Remixpoint and Frontiers as business partners to integrate Remixpoint’s capabilities in development and sales of archive systems for high quality digital video contents and also Frontiers’ capabilities in development of IP transmission equipment. We both believe this development of each capability, will enable to provide end-to-end video solution in communications and broadcast business field for both companies.

2. Details of the partnershipRemixpoint will take over the existing relationships with broadcasters and other customers which have been developed by Frontiers and integrate the sales channels for the businesses listed below, to expedite the expansion of these businesses.
Frontiers will specialize in the development and manufacture of products in the businesses listed below by leveraging its state-of-the-art technology, and will continue to offer innovative products and high technical capabilities.
1) Development, manufacture and sales of video transmission systems and related equipments.
2) Development, manufacture and sales of optical communication systems, modules and related components.
3) Provision of maintenance and other services for video transmission systems and related equipments and optical communication systems, modules and related components.
4) System integration for 1 to 3 above.
