Kandenko Co. announced that they will exhibit some of their latest technology, including the "digital head end device" used for transmitting digital programs at the "Cable Television 2004" (sponsored by Japan CATV Engineering Association, etc.), which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight (Ariake, Tokyo) from June 23. With "Possibility of NETWORK" as the theme, Kandenko will introduce the latest technologies for network systems, from a comprehensive point of view from planning to maintenance and construction.

Cable Television 2004 will be held for three days starting from the 23rd. This will be the 16th time that Kandenko Co. will exhibit in this event. The company aims to appeal their technology for the rapidly expanding broadband network.

At the site, the following five themes will be exhibited at visitor participation booths, appealing Kandenkoﾕs technological capability.
　(1) Digital head end device
　(2) Sewage fiber laying method
　(3) Remote monitoring system, I-EYE Net　
　(4) NET SAVE's network monitoring service
　(5) Video over IP transmission system

Feature products are the "Digital head end device" for supporting CATV operators in digitilization, and the "Video over IP transmission system," which enables high-quality, non-compression video transmission. The Video over IP transmission system will be exhibited jointly with Frontiers Co., (Head Office: Hachioji, Tokyo, President: Hiroshi Tango), a company engaged in import and sales of optical communications equipment.

Additionally, NET SAVE Co. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Shigeyuki Uchida), a fully-owned subsidiary of Kandenko engaged in CATV network maintenance will demonstrate on screen the actual operation between the call center and monitoring center, which is the primary service of NET SAVE Co. Remote monitoring devices used in actual daily operation will also be exhibited at the site.
